About Us
We are a small group of qualified Social workers. All our Social Workers are registered with
Social Work England
and Social Care Wales. Each Social Worker has an
Enhanced DBS
check, Indemnity Insurance
(BASW)
and Social Work qualifications. Between us we have expertise across a range of social work areas: learning disability, older people, mental health, prison and forensic settings. Our skills and expertise bring quality to our work. We understand where the pressure points are for local authorities in a period of unprecedented financial challenge and societal change.
We know social care and what works well. We can recognise what quality based interventions are and know how this translates down to the frontline. We are skilled in finding solutions to complex problems and issues. We recognise where the difficulties are and have an innovative and positive-skill set to offer focussed and cost-effective solutions across a range of services.
We are motivational, we think outside the box to find tailor made solutions to particular issues. We offer positive service redesign based on what works and what provides a cost-effective service with a focus on positive outcomes for people.
Our Social Workers
Our practice is based on our experience and achievements within social care, health and Third Sector. We have a strong leadership and management ethos that offers objectivity regarding process redesign. We are knowledgeable about relevant legislation and statutory local authority functions and unlike other consultancies we have a value base that focuses on strength based outcomes, independence and self determination. We know what best practice looks like and how to implement this in front line services.
We problem solve and work to resolve any areas of difficulty affecting frontline practice. This can be wide ranging from teams that aren’t performing to process difficulties preventing service delivery.
We offer training across a range of subjects to improve workforce knowledge and productivity and to provide staff with the confidence to assess, review and manage risks appropriately.
Our work with the Third Sector has consisted of supporting services with making charitable bids, securing firm partnerships with providers services, developing positive achievable and realistic contracts.
We believe our unique practice and management skills within statutory social work enables us to provide a comprehensive service to local authorities who require objective overview of service areas giving cause for improvements.

Our social workers are experienced skilled practitioners with extensive experience in Social Care, Health, Private and Voluntary Sectors. We can provide independent social work reports, including reports for Tribunals, Best Interests Assessments (BIA), Forensic Assessments for Mentally Disordered Offenders (MDOs), Specialist Assessments for people with Learning Disability and or Autism.
Training
We provide training on a variety of subjects including: Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, DoLS, Autism, Learning Disability, Substance Use etc. We can also put together bespoke training packages.
