Autism is a lifelong condition that includes Asperger Syndrome. Let’s get the language right first. Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), but our view is just to use the term Autism. We believe in respecting difference and the benefits it brings to our community.  

Autism affects individuals in different ways, just like having your own unique fingerprints. For example, Dr Stephen Shore once said " when you have met one person with Autism then you have met one person only". The causes are a combination of genetics and environmental factors, although research is finding various new theories. 

Autism Training

Some people provide training on Mental Health Issues, and do it very well, whilst others provide training on Autistic Spectrum Conditions, and do that equally well. However, we believe our training is unique because it combines both, whilst being flexible enough to cater for a wide range of people. To date we have trained hundreds of professionals ranging from Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Approved Mental Health Professionals, Senior Social Workers and Care Staff from a wide variety of supportive services.

Our training curriculum accommodates one-off training days, enhanced Autism and rolling programmes to Health & Social Care, AMHP Prgrammes, Care and Support Staff, including private, voluntary  and criminal justice sectors.
